Introduction:

The life and faith of the Celts intrigues our generation. For centuries the lives of these men and women, written about so vividly and challenging by the Venerable Bede, remained untouched and unexplored. But now the lives of Cuthbert, Aidan, Columba and Hilda are more and more well known and their insights into creation, human nature and godliness are being rediscovered in our own generation. This journey, which takes in Durham, Monkwearmouth, Holy Island, Ruthwell and Oban cultimates in a day pilgrimage to the majestic island of Iona. It is not to be missed.

Our accommodation in Durham, is all included. Accommodation is of good university standard, with bathrooms provided close to comfortable bedrooms. LTG uses reliable, established coach companies with experienced drivers.
